Lifecare Family Services, a behavioral health agency serving individuals who are in recovery from mental illness is seeking an Employment Specialist to market adult job seekers to employers.
The employment specialist will be part of a mental health treatment team and will serve the program participant in our offices, in the community and on the job site as part of the client's individualized employment program.
This person will also write resumes, assist the client in completing online and hardcopy job applications and will mentor the job seeker in job search skills. The Employment Specialist will also provide on-site assessments, maintain proper documentation and may serve as a job coach when the job seeker is hired.
Requirements:
1. Superlative sales and negotiating skills
2. Desire to help people with disabilities find employment
3. Excellent organizational and computer skills
4. Reliable transportation with the ability to transport job seekers when needed
5. Some knowledge of mental illness or disabilities is preferred
20+ hours per week
