BERKE TO HOLD CLEAN ENERGY FORUM FRIDAY [10/21]
Third annual conference will focus on policies for job growth CHATTANOOGA – State Senator Andy Berke will hold a clean energy forum with officials across the state on Friday, October 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET in the Signal Mountain Room at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. “Tennessee has positioned itself to be a national and international leader in clean energy development, but we must expand and focus our efforts to best benefit the state’s workforce,” Berke said. “Clean energy is a growth market for us, and we need to make sure we’re training Tennesseans for those jobs.” The panel discussions and subsequent Q&A sessions will feature speakers from TVA, Volkswagen, Wacker and other clean energy entrepreneurs and leaders across Tennessee. The event is free and open to the public. There's a bit of irony for you... Don't the hot air emissions from politicians contribute to global warming?
I am very looking forward to installing solar panels on my home and becoming a provider of clean energy myself. But to pay for those solar panels I have to hold down a good job. Not many people that work for a living can spare half a workday to listen to someone that talks for a living...
