I agree with the driving part for sure.

Oh, Chattanooga! We’re so close to becoming one of the nation’s cupcake cities. A place where children can grow up with strong moral backbones and elderly people can live out their twilight years before passing over into the land of heavens or whatever. Our economy is relatively strong when compared to, for example, any city in Michigan or Ohio. If we don’t have money, we are rich in beauty with water, mountains, and few bridges to prance over while holding hands with a lover or two. We’ve got it good here, ya’ll! We’re so close! And yet, there are elephants.

I've driven in Boston, Los Angeles and I now live in Metro Atlanta, I tend to agree about the drivers but please don't try to say the traffic also compares.

I think he's dead on about drinking, smiling and the gangs.

Why can't some of those awful drivers run over a few gang members occasionally? Then more of us would smile.
