So a year later the Census Bureau is hounding us with messages on our door almost every day.....does anyone know if I a required to talk to these jackasses?? They sent a form with some really personal questions on it. Do I have to put up with this?

Census? The next one isn't scheduled until 2020. If they didn't count you the last time, then yes, you will have to talk to them. Personal info does not need to be answered. They only need a head count for your home. Try the fifth amendment to the constitution. The 5th only applies to answering questions relating to crimes. The 4th covers unreasonable search and seizures, which can include personal info. The question is, is it unreasonable to ask such questions. For the rules on the census, see Title 13, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4.

Is this the American Family Survey?
They sent this to me a couple of years ago. Wanting to know how long my commute to work is, how much my electric bill is, how much my water bill is, etc.
I told them to go pound sand! I wasn't answering their personal questions.
