What is your favorite recipe site?
and why?
I normally use MrFood.com because they are pretty easy but their search engine sucks.
I would like to type in a few ingredients and see what I could make with them...

The recipe app on my android is from allthecooks.com which is a pretty good site. It has recipes submitted by people from all over the globe and from all walks of life. Some are most interesting.
I also like Saveur Magazine which I get free through my Google "Currents" app. It has some nice recipes listed every day. Today one of the featured is "The Massamanhatten Cocktail" along with a video on "How to Dip Truffles." Through the same "Currents" app I get "101 Cookbooks" which has a huge amount of available recipes. A few of the current list are: Roasted Winter Squash Salad, Ginger Soba Noodles, Red Lentil Soup w/Lemon and Lemony Olive Oil Banana Bread.

I rarely use recipes - I tend to create my own. But I do use Google extensively for tips of oven temps and the like as well as Wikipedia for info on spices, seasonings and the more unusual fruits and vegetables.

I use a program called ** evernote ** it puts a "clip" button on my browser so I can push anything I want to remember into a list. Then its on my laptop, phone, ipod whatever. kinda cool way to keep lists.

I love foodgawker.com. I have the application on my phone. You actually get to see what the food looks like, and if it is something you would like, you just click the picture and it takes you to the recipe. You can even browse recipes by group or just do a simple search.

foodgawker does something else I don't see often. Give you the entire meal not just one dish.
