Dozens of Chattanooga-area athletes will make their college choice official Wednesday when the sign national letters of intent as part of the NCAA's annual National Signing Day. Keith Cawley and Paul Shahen will be crisscrossing the Tennessee Valley throughout the morning and afternoon to talk with local signees. This year's crop of talent is headlined by Cleveland quarterback Chad Voytik, a U.S. Army All-American who plans to sign with Pitt, and Calhoun kicker Adam Griffith, who intends to sign with reigning BCS national champion Alabama. Four area standouts also plan to sign with military academies to play Division I FBS football. Bradley Central's James Stovall will sign with Navy, while Calhoun's Tyler Frix and Reed Allen will join Chattooga's Luke Brantley will ink with the Air Force. www.wrcbtv.com/story/16647023/national-signing-day-2012
