I am very proud of the folks in the photo on page 13. Although the story by the guy on page 20 is a pretty good read too. kickstandup.com/pdf/212.pdf

My dad is trying to locate some extra copies for family members. That is his mom and dad (my grandparents) on page 13.

I suspected as much ;-)
Fenders would suggest Indian, but what little we can see of the tank logo doesn't look like it.
My grandfather had a bike about that same time period, but I don't remember what he said it was. He drove a Cord and played fiddle in a jazz band, also.
My great-uncle was a motorcycle police officer in Chattanooga about this time, too. Likely, as "bikers", they all knew each other.
Ronnie at QuickTees should have a few extra copies of the magazine for you.
