When I moved over to Channel 3, I walked into an iPhone newsroom. Everyone here has iPhones. So, not to be the odd man out (at least in this area), I bought my very first non-Android smartphone. And loved it. In fact, I still do. My iPhone 4S has been, without a doubt, the best phone I've ever owned. I even have four screens full of apps that I used regularly, now that I have finally embraced the app culture. So naturally now that I've come over to the Apple side of the fence, you can guess what has happened. Android is eating Appleās lunch. Yep, The Android operating system powered nearly three out of four smartphones shipped worldwide in the recently ended quarter as the mobile platform dominated the market, according to industry trackers at IDC.
