Police said after two teens admitted breaking into a house and said Billy Joe Taylor was with them, Taylor said there "would be some homicides in Brainerd."
Asked at the jail who would be killed, he said his co-defendants would be killed.
The three were arrested after kicking their way on Sunday into a residence on Ricky Drive in Brainerd.
Drake Boyd said he heard someone kick in his door and, when he went to investigate, he found three black males inside his home. They fled on foot.

Derrecka Witcher on Tuesday recanted statements made to police earlier implicating her older sister, Temekia Deshon Reed, in a stabbing murder at College Hill Courts on the Westside.
Ms. Witcher, though pressed by prosecutor Cameron Williams, said she could not recall seeing her sister toss aside a pair of purple-handled scissors.
She also could not confirm that Ms. Reed told her that she had "seen a chest and gone for it."
Ms. Witcher said, "I know in my heart she didn't say that."

Police said a known gang member who was armed with a handgun forced his way into a residence while trying to elude officers.
Robert Marshall "B-Bop" Allen, 19, of 3204 E. 44th St., was charged with resisting stop and frisk, aggravated burglary, criminal trespass and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Police said an officer on routine patrol in a known drug area observed several known gang members at 1101 Sheridan Ave. As police exited their vehicle, Allen ran from police into an occupied residence.
Police said Allen forced his way into the residence. The female resident quickly exited and said she did not know the intruder.

The Chattanooga Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit made 36 arrests over the weekend, including five gang members, police said.
The unit "focused on high crime areas in the city with a mission to locate and arrest people committing crimes and to seize illegal guns and drugs," officials said.
The officers also assisted patrol districts with any Priority One calls for service.
