Gotta agree with the Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce though. It's pretty good.
OH! Baked beans with onion & bacon! That's what I think I'll bring to the Notta Picnic. Thanks. I hadn't been able to think of anything 'fun' for this one. That'll do.

There is no "we" but yes I meant "you" unless the groceries were dropped on your doorstep.

Although I prefer rubs to just putting sauce on BBQ I must say it looks pretty darn good. As far as BBQ sauce goes...my favorite is "Sweet Baby Ray's" Honey BBQ sauce. It is the bomb!!!

I'm so sweet already I really don't like foods that have had a lot of sweetener added. I much prefer to start at the basic level and add sweetener and other flavorings to my taste. And please, if anyone sees me drinking a beer with "honey" in the name, just shoot me on the spot. Thanking you in advance.

Funny, I don't like beer at all - but I love it when basting ribs or steak. Eating it is fine, drinking it is nasty. Crown and coke for me please

Addendum: if seen diluting Crown Royal with anything other than a splash of water and an ice cube, beat me then shoot me.

Ice cubes provide all the dilution a person needs.
I prefer my scotch to be single-malt though. I'll leave the blended for others that are so inclined.

Ummm, Stray, Crown Royal is Canadian not Scotch. I too love my single malts, straight up in a snifter with perhaps a glass of room temp water on the side.

They're both whiskeys. I just can't stand blended whiskey.

No, one is whisky, the other is whiskey. There is a difference. There is no rye in Scotch, there sure the hell is in Canadian.
