Just had lunch (actually, two lunches - read on) at The Cuban Cafe' on Chapman Rd (across from United/Hunt Nissan). I had one of the lunch combo specials, which was pulled pork, onions and green peppers in a semi-sweet sauce (but not like BBQ sauce) over white rice, with kernel corn and fried plantains. This was very good, although for over $8 the portions could have been larger. I was still hungry when I finished. So I ordered a Cuban sandwich (ham, swiss, mustard, pickles on a hoagie roll, then pressed (not sure if steam was involved). For just under $6, this was a much better deal, as the sandwich was large. The place is clean, bright, and nice. It is within walking distance of the office, I don't know why I haven't been before, but I think I'll be going back.
At any rate, at the moment, I am absolutely stuffed.

I love Cuban food! Haven't had any since leaving Florida! Where is Chapman Road? I should know, I suppose, but at least in what part of town is it?

The road that turns off Shallowford going to all the car dealers. Cuban Cafe is across from Hunt Nissan.

Well, I know I've heard of Hunt Nissan, but rarely hit that part of town (that 'end' of Shallowford), so didn't really know where it is.
Thanks!
