Legal Seafood is not the same outside of Boston.... and even Cambridge is outside of Boston in this case.

I'm with JT. I'd hand it over to a "group" of people.... keep the franchise out. Michelle would be on that list, with my eventual brother-in-law (amazing chef) playing some role.... I'd hire FunGrrrl to manage the service end of the joint. And get Twisted to bartend.

I would make the upper my bedroom, the lower my computer room, the rest my 'eccentricities'.
BURN the building.

I'm sure you could work with Hoppy and I'm sure whatever endeavor you two teamed up together on would be a success. I just don't see the terms for occupying that space being conducive to making a locally owned and managed restaurant successful. I could be wrong but I've heard this topic before in this forum.
BTW, am I getting credit for the cupcakes?

Local yes, chain nooooooo. BTW, any of you who are somewhat adventerous diners and end up in the Barrett Parkway area should try Panag Maylaysian restaurant right across the side road from Towne Center. They have some pretty off the wall stuff as well as more standard Thai fare such as Pad Thai and some curries. I highly recommend it. I've eaten at most of the chain outfits in the area and get bored with them quickly, Panang has a huge menu, almost impossible to be bored there.
