Chattanooga Police have been in contact with the administration at the Boyd Buchanan School at 4626 Bonnieway Dr. in Chattanooga in reference to an incident that had occurred at the high school.
Administrators of the school reported yesterday evening, non specific graffiti was written on the boy’s bathroom wall. This graffiti was non specific and did not make specific threats towards any student or faculty member. At no time was any student or faculty member at risk.
The administration decided, given recent events at the national level, an off duty Chattanooga Police Officer would be employed to dispel any rumors of threats or incidents at the school.
The incident of the graffiti is being treated as a school prank and disciplinary action will be handled internally. Because students are involved no names will be released. --- Sgt. Kim Noorbergen Chattanooga Police Department Police Information Officer

Glad to see that the facts were reported and not speculation or rumor. I was reading another board yesterday which was reporting something totally different from what actually happened. Thanks for waiting for facts prior to reporting.
