Negatory -- If mother nature smiles on my plantings, I'll be giving away some from time to time but $$$ will not change hands (for this effort)....

Hey Kordax, Thanks so much for the tomato plants! Hopefully I will be mega successful and can offer some up to the black thumbs. Pay it forward and all that! Great talking to you! It really is such a small world.

Kordax, do you have any plants left? I'd love to get a few if you and my husband can arrange to meet somewhere.
PM me please!

Kordax, it was good to meet you! Thanks again for the plants. I got them into the ground on Sunday. They've enjoyed the rain!
This digging up of dirt is good therapy for frustration & missing your kid. I bought some squash to plant in another part of my yard...and a mint plant to put in a container. More digging in store for me!

I've used all the extra plants I need to replace the ones that didn't make it, and I figure there are still @ 50+ plants to give away. For anyone interested in the last round of hierlooms, PM me; you'll need to meet me at the garden to get a bunch ....

Kordax, as for your voice mail, there are still 6 or 8 stakes you cut but didn't load up, plus any more that are on my side of the fence are fair game. Just call.

No, but whenever I make spelling errors (which is not infrequent), I blame it on Shakespeare who spelled his own name several different ways .....

Kordax, answering critique of his spelling, said: ...whenever I make spelling errors (which is not infrequent), I blame it on Shakespeare who spelled his own name several different ways ..... A cogent, apt and astute observation that I heartily second, commend and applaud, Kordax. Isn't it interesting that in Shakespeare's day there were no real dictionaries, much less grammarians; the diagramming of sentences was a painful torture several hundred years still to come, and yet the English language was then enjoying its greatest period of originality, eloquence and poetic vigor. Orthography, grammar and syntax are descriptive, not rigidly prescriptive. Some common ground must exist for people to understand each other's meaning, but people make language, academics simply keep score. Pardon the digression; move on, nothing to see here.

People have started eating cucumbers, squash, okra, watermelons and cantaloupes from the CSTCC unofficial gardens, and I've picked my first batch of cherry tomatoes from the home garden along with bell peppers.
Correction: the cantaloupes are almost ready for picking, but not quite yet, and the watermelon-picker was premature but picked anyway. More on the way.

I have more than 3 dozen tomatoes that are big, beautiful and green. I'm hoping one of them ripens before I leave town on Saturday!
