In some places, you can't smoke in your own home because someone walking by on the sidewalk might smell it.

No, the nephilim. That's the very meaning of the word: half-man.
And they figure prominently in the Bible, although many Christians ignore that part.
Mainly because the KJV translators translated it as "giants", and the KJV is what most Christians are familiar with, or has influenced subsequent translations. The Septuagint used the word gigantes, which is the same word that is applied to Hercules, etc.

Who says the Bible doesn't talk about demi-gods? They are in Genesis, as well as other places.
But, the blanket statement that Jesus was not accepted as God is a fallacious statement. Perhaps one church did not accept that until the 4th century, and there are still others today that do not. However, it was written about in prophecy for millennia before, and was accepted by Pilate. Jesus claimed it. The writers of the New Testament accepted it. The Greek Orthodox Church accepted it from day one. The list goes on and on.

Actually, the Bible has Jesus claiming to be God, so the only "politics" is whether you believe what the Bible says or not. Not relying upon a church that uses the same headgear as the Dagon cult.

Brisco County Junior and Due South are both good TV series, but I don't know if they are for rent.
Even if you don't like gory movies, I highly recommend Tucker and Dale vs Evil. It's one of the funniest movies I've seen in years, and is full of action.

And that's my point about Asimov. He is descended from ethnic Jews, but is not Jewish in the religious sense.
Like Zimmerman.
He's just the wrong minority(ies). IOW, he's not the young black thug who was attacking someone.

Isaac Asimov was a Jew in name only, but that doesn't mean he wasn't Jewish. Zimmerman.

You can spend it on whatever you wish, but don't use the "preventative care saves money" line; it's a lie.

Poverty kills people too, so spending the money in one area causes shortened lives in others.

PC response to young black men committing a robbery spree: Don't even look at black people, you racist pig!
When I lived in DC, I had a friend who was a MD state trooper who happened to be black. He had the highest arrest rate. Know why? Because he could racially profile young black men.
But Zimmerman (the Latino Jew with a Catholic background is not minority enough) made the mistake of watching a suspicious person.
In other news, TSA must equally target little white grannies, children, etc., as they cannot actually profile those who are guilty.

Florida passed similar legislation back in 2010 decreasing their welfare applicant pool by 48 percent and saving their state $1.8 million. And they said it wouldn't work.
