Rum

Rum is made from boiled and distilled roots of the Rumula tree.
It's a tasty and refreshing beverage.
It was first made by Ben Franklin in John Adams garage.
It is now part of the American way of life and is enjoyed in schools around the US on a daily basis. ;D

But for real southern satisfaction nothin' beats the Mint Julep..

Take a mortar and pestel to do it right,
grind fresh mint leaves then add sugar and grind into it,
a few cubes of ice
and some fine bourbon.....

Coconut rum may be tasty but it's evil. It's half the strength of rum and costs just as much. Parrot Bay is only 40 proof, Cruzan too. IMO tis better to buy real rum and add your own mixers.

This little ripoff scheme they have only bothers me because it is SO TASTY!

Cheap rum is great for boat drinks. Yum!!!

If you want sipping rum, try Clement Rum from Martinique.


You can't lay on the beach and drink rum all day if you don't start in the morning.

Definitely - I usually put Ron Rico in boat drinks.

You can't lay on the beach and drink rum all day if you don't start in the morning

40 proof it may be,but what does that potent [insert fav brand] get diluted to when added to ice,or mixed with fruit juice.

I like my liquor straight,and when Im in the mood for silky smooth,I hit the PB
