If I get really really wasted and pee in a potted plant or a sink or something... would y'all think any less of me? As long as you don't pee in the ice, we're cool.

If I get really really wasted and pee in a potted plant or a sink or something... would y'all think any less of me? How about - if you don't pee in any potted plants then we'll think more of you? Sinks are still, as always, fair game. They make easier targets when you're seeing double everything.

I love it when bars put ice in the urinal. It's fun seeing how much you can melt before you're done.

Um... wrestling this thread back on to a more savory topic (bunch of weirdos here, I swear), I'd like to get a bit of an idea over the next week about what people are planning to bring.
I'm not worried about the amount of food that will be brought - I know you people, after all - what I am worried is about "main" dishes, like a turkey or a ham or so forth. A potluck with nothing but salads, mac-n-cheese, chips and desserts seems a bit odd even for our group.

That reminds me, I need to rig that up for my run today. Think I'll go down upper truck to John Smart and back around the the Craven's. Might get some stunning views up there, not to mention a few scenes of an insane doberman trying to run down a deer.
As for the party, I'm no grand cook but I'll try to bring something edible that would count as a main dish.

We're bringing a sliced ham and maybe some rolls.

Not sure if I can make it yet, but if I come... I'll bring something. A bucket o' chicken or multiple cans of vienna sausages... or some pigs' feet... but... something.

Closed Circuit to Bob, aka "Santa Claus": On Christmas Morn when the only gift under the Tree is a brand new Nikon digital SLR and a large boxful of over-priced Nikon accessories, I'm going to tell the disappointed family to talk to Santa Claus!
Really delighted that everyone had a good time! Perhaps next year we can hold a Rites of Spring Gathering in the Great Outdoors. The V has a boat dock and a BigAss WoodFired Grill.
Ringleman #5: Perhaps while you're in New Mexico, you can tune in Bobby Box on 98.5 in Albuquerque. Works 5a-10a M-F, 9a-1p Sat. Used to be "Bobby Dark" on WMOC, one of Chattanooga's early rockers, back in the early '60s.

The chow-chow was superb! I have orders for two more jars. I frankly don't think it matters, but, how much do you get per jar?
Enjoyed meeting you yesterday; sorry you couldn't hang around.

Wonderful party! I had no idea that the VFW had such a nice place or that they were nice enough to let nuts like us in there.

Scarlett: Normally the Hall at the VFW rents for several hundred dollars per event, but, since your Pictureman is a member of Post 4848 our group got a "discount". Glad you enjoyed the place!
