It's now open, and is it nice! They have all kinds of sections for a cheese, coffee, and ready to go food. I went by twice yesterday. I picked up something on the way to work and went back later to really check it out. It's much bigger than the other one...the aisles stretch forever, and there is much more space between them. Eventually, they will sell wine in another part of the store.

It's on Manufactor's rd. across from Riverside Beverage. I think the prices are pretty much the same. I just get a few select items there.

I popped in today for my check and to pick up some more uniforms. The place was sweet... I have been there for the construction and getting it open. I saw it open for the first time today. I have munchkins and they like the little cars on buggys. These thing rock. The kids get to rid in the little car mock up and th whole cart is the same small size as all the rest. Not like the Behemoth's at Wally World or Bilo... Hot bar loocked great soups looked great. bakery awesome...... Just a grat place all around...
I get to get back to my kitchen soon.. Hooorah

Can't wait to see if they have expanded their selection of gluten-free items!

They sure have expanded the cheese selection, making this cheese-head very happy. Also, they will be adding a wine and spirits store next door soon. I was told that they have a license that allows them to let customers sit down and drink beer/wine purchased there and try some cheeses etc. Works for me!!

I wasn't in there long, but they didn't seem to have more selections, Snark.
I needed bread mix though. I can't seem to find THAT down in Atlanta (strangely), but I can find all kinds of other gluten free stuff here.

Saturday, they're having the opening celebration. Jennifer Daniels is scheduled to perform, but I don't know when....yet! Marvell and I may swing by.

Some of our guests at the inn went down there today, and reported back to us that the place was a madhouse! LOL

My wife went there today with a friend, first visit to Greenlife. She came home raving, she is now a convert. I am still a huge fan of the butcher at Fresh Market though.

It was crazy today-the grand opening attached a lot of people! We had fun but I am looking forward to going back after the crowds die down for a shopping trio, or maybe to eat lunch (food selection looked incredible).
Warkitty, I did see several new gluten-free frozen items, including Kinnikinnick frozen donuts and several types of GF frozen pizzas and entrees. I like to surprise my daughter with stuff like that from time to time. And if you haven't tried them, the Van's GF waffles are great!

Sorry to threadjack-but Kitty, have you tried ordering gluten-free bread mix by the case on Amazon? We can split a case if you like...

Snark,
No I hadn't. I usually make my own mixes, but I didn't want to drag all the ingredients down here to Atlanta.
Splitting a case sounds like a good idea to me. sabrekitty at hotmail dot com.

I got the impression that it would be a small store with select wines...sort of like an Italian place. I doubt that it will make a dent in Riverside's business. That place was hopping today.

I haven't been there yet, but a friend tells me that their prices are significantly higher at the new store. For ex., she buys their grilled portabellos at the old store for 5.99 - still - and they're priced at 7.99 at the new store.
