I have photos of a raccoon out on the deck with a few of our cats eating together side by side. Haven't seen him in a few years since we got Lucy.

"My" cats seem to be calling all their friends. I started with one big tom and a sad looking cow spotted 'mama' cat with kittens that died. SHE is the one that I started feeding. Then I found out that there are two cow spotted cats, almost identical, when I saw them together. We also have one that is mostly black with white feet. Now I've been seeing a fluffy black one. As it was warm and sunny yesterday, I saw a variety of these critters, two at a time sunning themselves on my back porch or in the grass as the sun moved. I saw the mostly black one shoot under under the building through a small hole in the bricks when I went out to clean up after Crazy Beer Lady.
FYI - She's getting really pitiful.

Black Cats are known for carrying guns around here, ya' know. Is that a "R" comment?

Perhaps I should have said "Scoot"... but that doesn't accurately describe how FAST that kitty cat ran straight for the hole in the wall.

LOL! Yeah, we tried 'stealing' her beer for about 2 weeks. I would go out every day, sometimes twice a day and 'clean up' anything that was left behind my A/C unit. As the Mom was getting pretty concerned that Crazy Beer Lady would break the A/C, she decided to put a fence around it. JoeDog was unfortunate enough to come by on the day Mom was in the mood to erect the fence. He was kind enough to drive the poles and help stretch the fencing around the A/C & basement door area.
Today, as we peeked out the window, Crazy Beer Lady staggered around out there at least twice looking very confused staring at the fence. She left her bag behind the Lion's Club. I'm debating on 'cleaning that up' in the morning.

Ok. I've been cleaning up after Crazy Beer Lady and it hasn't slowed down. In fact, the amount of beer is increasing to the point that Joe doesn't want any more Natural Ice. Neither does anyone else. What the heck am I going to do with this stuff???

Don't you mean "party behind Beauty and the Beast" Jay? We can drink all the beer we find outside and then go in and play dressup! Bring airplane bottles of booze for shots too!

the only thing that natural ice in my book is good for, is boiling shrimp with a crab/shrimp boil packet with cajun seasonings added.. save it for the summer and we can maybe do this at some point. Just an idea
may have a real gathering of minds..

The red beans are in the Crock pot (*see? I found the R key!*). I'll put the rice on to cook after dinner. Fry up the smoked sausage and put it all together tomorrow. Minxy can beer boil the shrimp. --- Just FYI - I raided her stash three times today. Got at least one six pack each time. I must have 4 or 5 dozen cans of Natural Ice stashed. Fave Niece is coming tomorrow, we'll move it all and stack it neatly so we can keep track of how much "I'll" be contributing to the next Notta.

I vote for a Notta Mardi Gras party too.. Don't know where though but I volunteer for doing the shrimp/crab boil part, that way I know what is in the pot and no msg in the seasoning mix along with watching the gluten stuff for the others. I actually do read ingredients on everything so I can do that plus I have several large stock pots to use. I'll just need some place to do it , preferably whereever the party is due to the logistics of transporting the boiling water and such mix. ouch!!

Sounds like a good alternate to my driving to New Orleans, what with the nasty weather we've been getting!
