SEIU does not condone criminal behavior, they are negotiators. Wink, wink. And the Teamsters don't condone attempted murder, either, right?

Every study has shown that more private gun ownership leads to less crime.
Of COURSE the progressives want to ban them.

There is no such thing as trickle down economics. That is a figment of liberals' crazed imaginations.
But there are plenty of gun control laws. And none of them work. (Well, they ALL work, but to the favor of the progressives and other criminals.)

One law abiding armed citizen could have stopped this massacre.
Oh, wait, they were in a gun free zone.
How are those anti-gun laws working so far?

Progressives like to label anything a "war". Wars get people to give up liberties in exchange for so-called security.
Simple solution: Legalize all drugs, but impose capital punishment for anyone who commits a crime because they are on those drugs or to obtain that drug. DUI? Bang! Robbery to buy crack? Bang!
Problem solved.

So, the massive list of crimes committed by/in the name of the AFL-CIO is a good thing? Like the Teamsters, the AFL-CIO is directly linked to the mafia.
I guess in your eyes, murder is also good? Or only attempted murder is good? Extortion is OK?
What crimes are not OK as long as they are committed by a "good" organization?

Yes, unions have done SO much.
Such as creating the environment that gave Detroit a 48% unemployment rate.
An environment that made 9 of the 10 worst cities because of forced unionism.
Created a cost-of-living differential that destroys jobs and destroys the ability for workers to support their families.
Why do you think right-to-work states didn't suffer as much during the most recent downturn?
Unions are destroying America one industry at a time. Steel, airlines, auto, etc.

The Teamsters alone committed more EEOC violations than all the industries they extort money from.

My guess is it'll help them make more money hassling the populace. Yep. Just like DUI on the streets. If they were serious about stopping it, they would enforce existing laws and remove multiple offenders from the streets permanently. Instead, they simply talk about lowering the limits and raising the fines. Same with red light cameras. Since there is no violation on your license, most people simply pay them instead of fighting them, in spite of the fact that almost everyone who fights them wins. Let's see, a $75 fine or miss two days of work (one to file and one to fight)? It's all about revenue to those who make the rules.

Up until recently, it was correct to either add the apostrophe or not when making an acronym plural. (It is still correct to add an apostrophe when making an individual letter plural, although it has recently become preferable to put quotation marks around the letter and use no apostrophe. t's or "t"s.) Even the old askoxford.com site listed this rule (I won a bet with my wife at the time), and it was in English grammar texts that were used in schools. Either DVD's or DVDs was acceptable.
However, just as doubling the final consonant when making a plural has fallen by the wayside, so has this rule. Just as "buses" is now correct instead of "busses", so "DVD's" is no longer acceptable.
So, when the "M&M's" logo was created, that would have been proper use of an apostrophe.

Then why is it so hard for you to believe that the Koch's are supporting the causes they are supporting out of their belief it is the best for the country rather than just the best for Koch Industries. In a free market in which individual liberties are protected, doing what is best for one's own interests is what's best for everyone.

This race had implications that extended far beyond the borders of Wisconsin, hence people outside of Wisconsin participated.
And since Obama has stated (as a senator) that he wants to force every working American to contribute directly to unions, it certainly involves Obama.

Please see the "by today's standards" part of my statement.
Today, the so-called conservative politician is far left of center, just not as far left as the whacko liberals politicians. Trying to outspend one another in more and more entitlements.
JFK wanted to cut taxes, but increase entitlement spending, as opposed to today's standard of soaking the rich and increasing entitlement spending drastically.

The point is, that he was kicked out of synagogues in his day and the churches today condemn Judaism for that. Yet most churches today would kick out anyone who taught what he taught.
And with only 50 years since JFK, most people have forgotten that he was a tax cutting, hard right conservative by today's standards.

Belmont CA, Montgomery County MD, and Elk Grove Elk CA is next.
And when they did a public smoking ban in Montana, the death rate from heart attacks plummeted, and the shot right back up when it was rescinded.
But, they either need to ban tobacco period, or leave your home alone.

This one thing was so important to the Founding fathers that they put it in writing first. Is that why George Washington led prayers of congress, and why Ben Franklin said it was important?
