Asimov, who was opposed to the death penalty, proposed a way that no one could object to as being cruel and unusual: Simply put them in an airtight chamber and pump out all the oxygen while pumping it full of nitrogen. The people would simply go to sleep and not wake up.

Other than innuendo by left-wing hit sites, what's the evidence that he knowingly used false information?
Clinton knew exactly what he was doing, and although he should have been convicted in his impeachment (he committed a felony), he was punished by the loss of his law license, among other things.
But we live in a nation that worships criminals and other sleeze, so it's unsurprising that a felony is winked at.

So, women should be paid equally, even all things not being equal?
Sounds like discrimination.
And female college professors have made more since the 30's, all things being equal.
But, I'd be willing to bet this could be applied to race also, and blacks, although they've been making more, all things being equal, can demand equal pay even when their PhD's come from some inferior college, and they don't keep up with publishing.
The government needs to stay out of it.
We already have too many bad laws that bog down the system and do nothing but keep a bunch of predatory, low-life lawyers employed. The good lawyers don't need a gimmick to stay in business.

Considering the fact that women, all things being equal, have made more than men for many, many years, it's a good thing that another burdensome law doesn't get passed.

I think it's wrong that if someone is at fault in 18 accidents, with 13 DUI's, and killed a few families that auto insurance should be able to deny them for that pre-existing condition.

I wonder how many of that 58% simply want the federal government out of something it has not business being involved in?

There are many "violations" that are significant enough to effect changes in policies and get cash payouts.
Doesn't make them justified.
Like the young lady who was hit by a car while horseplaying with her uncle while waiting on the bus. The bus was still 5 miles away, but "they should have done a better job of teaching her how to behave" and the school district "should have had a policy in place to teach students how to behave at a bus stop".
Someone cries "racism", there will be new policies and new laws to cover someone's butt, it creates bureaucracy, and employs lawyers.
Doesn't make it justified.

Ummm... Justin, the last I checked, the republicans are our guys too.
I realize that your post is tongue-in-cheek, but at least give me credit for siding with our guys over our guys!
Of course, thinking back on it, at least I'm consistent. I opposed the president (W) when he was doing wrong things, just as I oppose the current occupant as he's doing wrong things. I don't care which party they belong to.
