Of course dear Yoda, being an intelligent person, you know that at least half of this is total BS.

Sir, In my considered opinion you are a hapless dumba**.
In other words, you are willing to pay for it as long as your taxes don't go up. That's bullshit!

Never gonna happen mynkint. Voters do not care to fund such, I am surprised that they don't kick more at paying for LE and other first responders. They want service, but don't want to pay for it.
As for mental health, that went out the window when Saint Ronnie Raygun cut loose the vast majority of mental health patients in CA. Been all downhill since then.

Age is not the problem here. The problem is the FUBAR way that students are taught to take tests, not to be educated.

If I had been paid for all my overtime for the last 16 years or so I would now be on a beach near the equator drinking rum.

Well hell then, give 'em away on street corners complete wih 30+ round magazines. By the way, the private sale of sex is illegal, especially near schools if you hadn't heard.

OK. Who feels gun shows should continue and offer firearms to any and all, and who feels this might not be such a great idea?

I just have to think that in this imperfect world that the more firearms there are in homes, the more people will make mistakes and leave the weapon where a two year old can find it and kill himself. Not to mention the people who will think their firearm is unloaded and accidentally shoot someone, like the guy who shot his son while climbing into a pickup a week or so back. Then there was the boy who wanted to scare his 11 year old sister and killed her instead, and the three year old girl who found a family members handgun and killed herself.
It is just mathematics, more guns more deaths, purposeful or accidental. More weapons do not truely equal more security for all.
Now I by no means want to take all guns away from everyone. I just feel there is room for compromise between the absolutist positions. And the first step should be to shut down the godforsaken "gun shows" where anyone with money or other guns to trade can procure weapns.

News Flash: 60+ year old man who has smoked pot for over 40 years has very strong feelings regarding the economy, politics, gay rights and a whole slew of other stuff. These feelings tend to get stronger on the very infrequent occasions he indulges these days.

I know you, LR & PM, understand this was a crime of greed and could have easily been perpetrated at any home/business where cash may have been thought to be available. Perhaps we should endeavor to make banks illegal because they get robbed, or convenience stores or fast food outlets? Come on guys, you are smarter than such knee jerk reactions indicate.

Dr. J A Dorizas with Ortho South fixed Mrs. Bear's meniscus very well. He is very highly rgarded in the medical community. One of his partners, Dr. Mark Freeman, did my total knee replacement in August. A great group, IMHO.

As hops are a close botanical relative to cannabis, I am not surprised to hear they have health benefits as well.

Coffee snob alert: we buy green coffee beans online about once a month, I roast enough for 2 or 3 days at a time then grind a days worth and make. I drink 2 cups a day, the aging body can't handle any more these days.
Please be advised that I do not consider anyone who does otherwise to be bad people. Each to their own!

I always wondered about that place. When I first moved to Chattanooga they had a help wanted ad, as I had 3 years experience in clerking and managing a surplus store I applied and did not even get asked back for an interview. I should have included the fact that my then boss ended up doing 16 years federal time for money laundering, might have done it.
