I actually think it's great. NBA Conference Finals & Finals are fun to watch.
shorten the season a few months w/ the lockout & we'll get this season over quicker.

no, there are not many people that feel this way. You obviously don't follow the program very close. They are on the up & up more than they have been in decades.
you asked a stupid question and answered your own stupid question w/ a stupid answer.

I didn't ask for a "How to Find my Lost Dog 101" course budro.
this isn't a crappy food joint review that a 1/2 dozen or so people highly anticipate. I'm just looking for other local message boards that I can post on.
as the original post clearly states.

I know you guys have referenced them in the past but I never pay attention.
My brother's dog ran away and it was pretty much my fault. I left the door open. I wanted to post a "Lost Dog" thread on other local message boards. I posted one here in the "Classified" section. If anybody can give me links to other local sites I'd appreciate it.
thanks.

so I'm watching the Titan's game and cooking on the front porch this past Sunday with the door open. It was a pretty fun day until I forgot to close the door when I was done and my brother's dog ran away. She's barely 6 months old, NOT fixed, but it is fully vaccinated & has a collar and a tag w/ the vets phone # on it. She is very friendly but very stupid and very young. Her name is Arly. If you have seen her it would be super appreciated if you would let me know. Thanks.

with the track record of every joint that has opened it's doors in that location nobody can honestly give it anything more than 12 months.
that location is where businesses go to die.
you can get very good "homemade" pasta at the chattanooga market every week.

dude? you've only posted here 14 times.
the traffic for this site is not down b/c of "trolls" or button pushing a-holes. They've always been here. That's part of the fun.
the traffic is down b/c this message board is boring. The reason it has any life at all is b/c for well over a decade this place jumped. It was the online place to be for in-tune chattanoogans.
the internet wasn't nearly as vast as it is now. Myspace wasn't even some dude's idea yet when this place was at it's height of it's popularity.
I've heard, from a very reliable source, that a certain media company offered to buy the domain for promotions sake. This site was so popular for so many years that a local media company wanted to purchase it.
then it had a couple minor legal issues. then some people started getting bullied around @ work b/c of things that were being posted. then censorship rules started getting enforced. then people slowly decided this place sucks.
not necessarily in that exact order.

Track 29 is not a "club"
It's a music venue. They have their own hired security.
If they would change all shows to 21+ it would limit the problems. That would greatly reduce the reason for a beer board or heavy police presence.
They have a stage, a bar, a smoking area, a parking lot, & a front door & ticket prices that weeds out people who are just there to "hang out"
you go to track 29 to see a show by an act you either know is good or have extremely high expectations for. There is no reason anybody would want to/benefit from loitering there.
Unfortunately they do have some 18+ shows, and when those go down everything I just typed is moot.

requiring guests to sign up will drive them away before it sucks them in. there is no more "must see" threads going on here.
the most interesting and heavily opinionated event that's happened in quite some time does not even have a mention on this message board. The Corey Smith/Track 29 incident.
the cops talk to themselves. a homosexual & a few of the cops, a couple regular obama or bush bashers, & a few smart asses drop in from time to time to try to have a little fun. oh and there are a bunch of pictures.
that's about all this message board has these days. a once heavily traveled and participated board has gone very bland. It's a damn shame.
I know I'll get somebody talking junk after this comment but: After the media censorship went so heavy that's when this site started dying.
It was the only place where media members & listener/fans could interact so closely. Now nobody is listening, reading, or commenting.
good night now.

I think the place is pretty overrated. I mean the food is pretty good but I'm not too fond of sitting around a spinning table sharing food with a bunch of strangers.
If i want good fried chicken (which isn't often) I'll go to Champy's have a forty and watch the game, all while not having to share my food with random a-holes.

I'm trying to figure out if BillVol is a wannabe food critic or just enjoys complaining constantly about everything.
this is a "review" of a food joint that he didn't even eat at.
but hey, he "KNOWS" it wasn't any good. he's that damn good.

it's a valid argument but CFC is not very relevant in the greater Chattanooga sports scene. moving their games from a top notch "professional" style venue to a high school field would be HUGE steps back in their evolution.
sound to me like the CFC younger more hip brass are trying to play poker face w/ the the old crony Finley brass but the old money guys might be shrewd enough to win that hand.
regardless of the quoted from the story says. They don't want to play their games anywhere but Finley. Try convincing New England & Columbus MLS teams to play at some rural high school's football field. It's not going to happen. Also you can forget any other scrimmage games from national & international teams.
anything other than Finley makes zero sense for the CFC if they hope to not just thrive, but survive. And Finley needs as much revenue as possible considering the city just cut a large amount of funding. So they both need each other. My guess is they will work something out. But CFC isn't fooling me w/ this "we might go somewhere else" game.
sure you will

so what you are saying is that in these negotiations the Finley brass should just give the CFC anything and everything they want?
what has the CFC done to deserve such treatment?
the CFC needs Finley more than Finley needs the CFC. I will entertain the argument that the two need each other equally but either way both sides need to work together on an agreement,.... not just Finley giving them whatever CFC wants.
